Auction result well in line with expectations
The work MONTAGNES À L'AUTOMNE by Xiao Sun was sold in the Art d'Asie auction at Christies in Paris in June 2018. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Sun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,406.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit MONTAGNES À L'AUTOMNE von Xiao Sun wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Art d'Asie bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Sun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.406,81) versteigert wurde.
