This artwork by Yang Yanping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in May this year. In the Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze auction, the work Autumn Song, 1996 sold for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 23,735.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Yanping - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fragrance Of Summer, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 524,000.00 (€ 52,165.46).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Yanping erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze wurde die Arbeit Autumn Song, 1996 für GBP 20.400,00 (€ 23.735,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Yanping mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fragrance Of Summer beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 524.000,00 (€ 52.165,46) versteigert wurde.
