Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work The Cruel Diary Of Youth No. 90 by Yang Yong for USD 1,200.00 (€ 1,027.66). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Chinese Art Online | No Reserve at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work International Passage in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,755.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Cruel Diary Of Youth No. 90 von Yang Yong für USD 1.200,00 (€ 1.027,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art Online | No Reserve bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Yong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit International Passage im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.755,48).
