It achieved a price of HKD 53,250,000.00 (€ 6,607,890.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Other works by Yayoi Kusama have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 10,496,000.00 (€ 9,781,008.29) in May last year for the work Untitled (Nets).

Die Arbeit Infinity Nets (TWHOQ) von Yayoi Kusama wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 53.250.000,00 (€ 6.607.890,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Andere Arbeiten von Yayoi Kusama haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.496.000,00 (€ 9.781.008,29) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Untitled (Nets) beobachtet.
