Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Afternoon At The Kibbutz by Yohanan Simon. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,596.41). Admittedly, works by Yohanan Simon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work At The Kibbutz in December 2012 with an auction result of USD 128,500.00 (€ 97,451.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Afternoon At The Kibbutz von Yohanan Simon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.596,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yohanan Simon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit At The Kibbutz im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 128.500,00 (€ 97.451,84).
