Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Green Park with Buckingham Palace in the Background by Yoshio Markino was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 836.50 (€ 1,293.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Yoshio Markino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,598.24).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Green Park with Buckingham Palace in the Background von Yoshio Markino kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 836,50 (€ 1.293,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yoshio Markino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.598,24).
