The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,276.00 (€ 3,637.72), 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nara Yoshitomo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Knife Behind Back in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 195,969,000.00 (€ 22,398,966.83).

Die Arbeit The Little Wanderer; And Pup Cup von Nara Yoshitomo wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion From Japan with Love bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.276,00 (€ 3.637,72) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nara Yoshitomo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Knife Behind Back im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 195.969.000,00 (€ 22.398.966,83).
