Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gagarin by Yuri Vasilievich Abramochkin was sold in the Art of the Soviet Union auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,277.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Vasilievich Abramochkin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trucks And Schoolyard, which sold at auction in November 2017 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,405.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
