Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans Titre by Yves Tanguy was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 126,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Tanguy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Extinction des espèces II in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 3,131,250.00 (€ 3,519,989.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Yves Tanguy kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 126.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Tanguy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L’Extinction des espèces II im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.131.250,00 (€ 3.519.989,38).
