Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 25.09.60 by Zao Wou-Ki was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 45,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 50,324,000.00 (€ 5,700,244.57). Admittedly, works by Zao Wou-Ki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 29.09.64. in May last year with an auction result of HKD 278,000,000.00 (€ 33,004,566.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 25.09.60 von Zao Wou-Ki kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 45.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 50.324.000,00 (€ 5.700.244,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zao Wou-Ki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 29.09.64. im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 278.000.000,00 (€ 33.004.566,21).
