Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Zao Wou-Ki was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 65,302.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zao Wou-Ki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29.09.64. in May last year with an auction result of HKD 278,000,000.00 (€ 33,004,566.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Zao Wou-Ki kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 65.302,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 350.000,00 – 550.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zao Wou-Ki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 29.09.64. im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 278.000.000,00 (€ 33.004.566,21).
