The work Sans titre by Zao Wou-Ki was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 288,000.00 (€ 34,828.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zao Wou-Ki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29.09.64. in May last year with an auction result of HKD 278,000,000.00 (€ 33,004,566.21).

Die Arbeit Sans titre von Zao Wou-Ki wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 288.000,00 (€ 34.828,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zao Wou-Ki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 29.09.64. im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 278.000.000,00 (€ 33.004.566,21).
