Auction result well in line with expectations
The work With Love by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Bonhams in July this year. The price achieved of EUR 3,840.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lutanda Zemba Luzamba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigars, Cognac and Lemon in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit With Love von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.840,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lutanda Zemba Luzamba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigars, Cognac and Lemon im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89).
