Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Standard Script Calligraphy by Zeng Guofan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,240,000.00 (€ 151,448.59), 24% above the upper estimate. Other works by Zeng Guofan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 228,514.76) in April last year for the work Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu II.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Standard Script Calligraphy von Zeng Guofan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.240.000,00 (€ 151.448,59) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Zeng Guofan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 228.514,76) im April letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu II beobachtet.
