Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2018 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20TH CENTURY & CONTEMPORARY ART & DESIGN EVENING SALE - Single Owner Section, which included the work Gifts from Heaven Series (in 2 parts) by Zhan Wang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,022.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhan Wang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artificial Rock No. 131 in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 6,380,000.00 (€ 630,365.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20TH CENTURY & CONTEMPORARY ART & DESIGN EVENING SALE - Single Owner Section durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gifts from Heaven Series (in 2 parts) von Zhan Wang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.022,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhan Wang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artificial Rock No. 131 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.380.000,00 (€ 630.365,14).
