Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pomegranate by Zhang Boju was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,659.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Boju achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orchid in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,888,000.00 (€ 212,591.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pomegranate von Zhang Boju wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.659,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Boju erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orchid im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.888.000,00 (€ 212.591,60).
