Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Endless Mountains by Zhang Tingji was sold in the An Exquisite Collection of Fine Chinese Paintings auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 69,000.00 (€ 6,547.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Tingji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Standard Script in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 76,334.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Endless Mountains von Zhang Tingji wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion An Exquisite Collection of Fine Chinese Paintings bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 69.000,00 (€ 6.547,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Tingji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Standard Script im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 76.334,97).
