Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bloodline: Big Family Series by Zhang Xiaogang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 15,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 16,007,500.00 (€ 1,317,841.10). Admittedly, works by Zhang Xiaogang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 98,035,000.00 (€ 10,340,568.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bloodline: Big Family Series von Zhang Xiaogang kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 16.007.500,00 (€ 1.317.841,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Xiaogang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 98.035.000,00 (€ 10.340.568,27).
