Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Zhang Yin was sold in the The Tang Hung and Fung Bi-Che Collection of Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,133.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Yin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in June 2015 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,261.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Yin wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion The Tang Hung and Fung Bi-Che Collection of Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.133,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 46.261,43) versteigert wurde.
