Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cultivating Chrysanthemum by Zhou Chen was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2003. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 573,600.00 (€ 59,736.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Chen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Scenery in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 51,390,000.00 (€ 5,096,267.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cultivating Chrysanthemum von Zhou Chen wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 573.600,00 (€ 59.736,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Chen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Scenery im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 51.390.000,00 (€ 5.096.267,32).
