The work Willows Along The Spring River by Zhu Meicun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 35,410.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Meicun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 394,327.42).

Die Arbeit Willows Along The Spring River von Zhu Meicun kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 35.410,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Meicun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies Embroidering A Hundred Butterflies im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 394.327,42).
