The photo was taken while I was stuck in a traffic jam in heavy rain.

The image was created when two of my images were combined in my head and in Photoshop to a unit in terms of form and content. The mythical story of Undine, the water spirit, who wanted to become a human out of love, has always fascinated me.

The old story retold.

The photo shows a water reflection of the James Simon Gallery in Berlin in the Spree. The ripples create an interesting abstract structure with beautiful color nuances.

Frost flowers on my window

This is a picture from the series "Berlin as a water reflection" and shows the colonnades of the old National Gallery. A moving red train provides the colorful corner at the top right.

The broken window panes in the cityscape fascinated me with the beauty of the glass structure and the lines formed by the shattered glass. In my imagination, this violent act was transformed into a poetic story.

The rain harps are actually pieces of furniture wrapped in foil that were left outside and were exposed to a downpour of rain. The foil structure and the clarity of the drops evoked a feeling of music in me, so the diptych was named "Rain Harps".

The picture shows two female figures freeing themselves from the ice. For me, dance and movement are always an act of liberation. In the digital photo collages I combine moving human bodies with structures.

Bauhaus was always a great inspiration for me and the reason for studying art history. Their experiments also inspired me to experiment with photography - here with long exposure. The movement creates painterly structures and sculptural forms and removes the documentary character of photography.

The photo, taken in long exposure, reminded me of the sculpture of the Futurist Umberto Boccioni.
