"Nature is my main source of inspiration, particularly its fascinating patterns and color palettes.
I mostly rely on tangible scenes, which are reincarnated throughout my creative process marrying fantasy, intuition and emotions.
I love creating intense sceneries by playing with straight lines, angles and curves.
Vibrant colors combined with soft tones and the alliance of light and shadows bring intensity, depth as well as sensitivity to my paintings. I enjoy mixing solid colors and gradients of colors. Those associations interest and stimulate me.
To concentrate on details and nuances is a real pleasure to me.
I paint with oils direct from the tube. I like the creaminess and elegance of pure oils.
The use of painting knives increases the depth, the intensity and even creates a bit of mystery.
