"Le Réel et son double" - January 2026

How is our relationship to reality constructed?

Through the senses, I access a facet of reality and thus develop an experience of the world around me. But does this mediation through the senses, through consciousness, produce an objective vision of the sensory world, or does it, on the contrary, contribute to reinforcing a subjectivity shaped day after day?

Can we simply access reality as it is, or are we condemned to perceive only a pale imitation?

Is it even possible to free ourselves from this tension between profound reality and subjective perception?

These questions about the nature of reality have preoccupied me since adolescence. I am pleased to announce my upcoming exhibition, which is fully in line with this reflection. It will be presented at "Dédale" on January 31st, and can also be viewed by appointment.

I will present about ten works in the form of installations, including a participatory, random piece.

I borrowed the exhibition title from the book by philosopher Clément Rosset, "Le Réel et son double" (The Real and Its Double), which explores precisely the questions raised here.

"Dédale" is a new third place located in Fontenay-sous-Bois, which I have occupied since July 2025. The inauguration will take place on January 31st.

Four exhibitions - May 2025

I am pleased to present my works in four different locations in the Paris region this May 2025.

I will be exhibiting at the Halle Roublot in Fontenay-sous-Bois as part of the "Entrez c'est ouvert" event this weekend, May 17th and 18th. I'm exhibiting in a "pop-up studio" and taking this opportunity to showcase my working tools. I will be presenting six medium to large-format pieces. I will also be at the vernissage at 6:30 pm.

The second venue where I'm exhibiting is La Fonderie in Fontenay-sous-Bois. La Fonderie is a former factory converted into an artists' residence. The space is particularly pleasant, and you can also visit the residents' studios this weekend as part of "Entrez c'est ouvert" (May 17th and 18th).

I am also pleased to announce the extension of my exhibition at a real estate agency on rue de Verneuil in Paris until June. Open Monday to Friday and located right next to the Musée d’Orsay, I am exhibiting nine paintings from the “No Reason” and “Paysages Entrelacés” series.

Finally, as part of the Sévrienne des Arts festival, I am presenting a painting, “Paysages Entrelacés,” in Sèvres. The exhibition is open from May 16 to 25th.
