Sculptor Mathias Kadolph makes sculptures with flowing forms and full of liveliness from the organic material wood. Born in 1957 in Hanover, Germany, he studied architecture at the University of Hanover from 1978 and added his studies in arts (sculpture) at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover from 1982. He has worked as a free sculptor since 1991, his studio is located in the lively Altona district of Hamburg, Germany. He was a member of Sculpture Network and in 2009 a guest lecturer at the International Summer Academy. His sculptures can be seen regularly in numerous exhibitions throughout Germany such as NordArt, among others, and are represented in various collections.
