A top price for A. Neranus - as previously expected
The work Belisarius by A. Neranus was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,643.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Belisarius is the most expensive artwork by A. Neranus that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Belisarius von A. Neranus kam im Februar 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.232,50 (€ 3.643,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Belisarius das teuerste Kunstwerk von A. Neranus, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
