Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Honey Pot, 2023 by Aaron Kramer was sold in the The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January 2024. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 180.00 – 380.00, the actual price achieved of USD 192.00 (€ 167.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Kramer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chicken, 2019, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 484.50 (€ 451.50).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Honey Pot, 2023 von Aaron Kramer wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 180,00 – 380,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 192,00 (€ 167,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Aaron Kramer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chicken, 2019 beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 484,50 (€ 451,50) versteigert wurde.
