A top price for Abel Dominique Boye - as previously expected
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work Gathering flowers by Abel Dominique Boye. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,986.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gathering flowers is the most expensive artwork by Abel Dominique Boye that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gathering flowers von Abel Dominique Boye zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.986,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Gathering flowers das teuerste Kunstwerk von Abel Dominique Boye, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
