Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Objeto Cinético CK-8 by Abraham Palatnik. The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 105,059.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Palatnik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sequencia Visual S-51 in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 785,000.00 (€ 576,951.34).
