This artwork by Achille Dovera achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in June 2001. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Barche E Pescatori Al Molo sold for EUR 10,045.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Achille Dovera - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avenida 3 De Febrero, Buenos Aires, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 34,000.00 (€ 23,148.15).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Achille Dovera erzielte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO wurde die Arbeit Barche E Pescatori Al Molo für EUR 10.045,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Achille Dovera mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avenida 3 De Febrero, Buenos Aires beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 34.000,00 (€ 23.148,15) versteigert wurde.
