Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Licht Und Materie by Adolf Luther was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2015. The price achieved of EUR 67,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolf Luther - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Struktur Für Licht (Licht Und Materie), which sold at auction in February 2010 for GBP 121,250.00 (€ 135,265.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Licht Und Materie von Adolf Luther kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 67.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolf Luther mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Struktur Für Licht (Licht Und Materie) beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für GBP 121.250,00 (€ 135.265,65) versteigert wurde.
