Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Shadows On The Wall, Chrysanthemums, C. 1907 by Adolphe de Meyer was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 171,750.00 (€ 130,429.83). Other works by Adolphe de Meyer have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 142,524.47) in October 2017 for the work Water Lilies.
