In February 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Modern Visions: Exceptional Photographs, which included the work Advertisement for Elizabeth Arden, 1923 by Adolphe de Meyer. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,706.29), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolphe de Meyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Water Lilies, which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 142,524.47).

Im Februar 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Modern Visions: Exceptional Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Advertisement for Elizabeth Arden, 1923 von Adolphe de Meyer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.706,29) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolphe de Meyer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Water Lilies beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 142.524,47) versteigert wurde.
