Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work A coastline at sunset by Adolphe-Louis Gaussen for GBP 293.75 (€ 474.28). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe-Louis Gaussen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danse De Printemps in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,192.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A coastline at sunset von Adolphe-Louis Gaussen für GBP 293,75 (€ 474,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00.
