Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work La plage by Adolphe-Louis Gaussen for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,061.78). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Adolphe-Louis Gaussen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Danse De Printemps in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,192.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La plage von Adolphe-Louis Gaussen für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.061,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolphe-Louis Gaussen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Danse De Printemps im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.192,95).
