Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century & Modern Art, which included the work Cubist still life by Adrianus Johannes Grootens. It changed hands for a price of EUR 13,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Adrianus Johannes Grootens have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2021 the work Kubistisch Stilleven was auctioned for GBP 15,625.00 (€ 18,323.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cubist still life von Adrianus Johannes Grootens zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 13.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Adrianus Johannes Grootens konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2021 die Arbeit Kubistisch Stilleven für GBP 15.625,00 (€ 18.323,55) versteigert.
