This artwork by Al Held achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2021. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Roberta's Trip, 1985 sold for USD 72,812.50 (€ 60,210.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Al Held have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Compass Rose in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 312,500.00 (€ 283,601.05).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Al Held erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Roberta's Trip, 1985 für USD 72.812,50 (€ 60.210,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Al Held auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Compass Rose im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 312.500,00 (€ 283.601,05).
