Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spiral Forms by Alan Sims was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. It achieved a price of GBP 360.00 (€ 528.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alan Sims - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Memories, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,958.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spiral Forms von Alan Sims kam im November 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 528,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Alan Sims mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Memories beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.958,81) versteigert wurde.
