Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Winter Camp Grounds Near Snowcapped Mountains by Albert Berg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 2,810.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Albert Berg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Urwaldlandschaft in Südamerika. in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Camp Grounds Near Snowcapped Mountains von Albert Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 2.810,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Berg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Urwaldlandschaft in Südamerika. im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00.
