Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Albert Ràfols Casamada achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in December 2021. In the SELECTEDArt d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain auction, the work Partida sold for EUR 12,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Ràfols Casamada - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marea baja, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 45,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Ràfols Casamada erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SELECTEDArt d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain wurde die Arbeit Partida für EUR 12.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Ràfols Casamada mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marea baja beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 45.600,00 versteigert wurde.
