Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Austrian Bildnis Otto Kunz (Portrait Of Otto Kunz) by Albin Egger-Lienz was sold in the European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings and The Orientalist Sale auction at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 20,900.00 (€ 26,585.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albin Egger-Lienz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Austrian der Sämann (The Sower) in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 533,792.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Austrian Bildnis Otto Kunz (Portrait Of Otto Kunz) von Albin Egger-Lienz wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings and The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 20.900,00 (€ 26.585,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
