In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work The Covered Bridge sold for USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,219.75) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aldro Thompson Hibbard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Country Store, Rawsonville in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 37,600.00 (€ 44,308.27).
