Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Une Belle Soiree, Loctudy by Alexander Goudie was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 7,736.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Goudie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Fruit And Flowers By Lamplight in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,120.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Une Belle Soiree, Loctudy von Alexander Goudie kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 7.736,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Goudie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit And Flowers By Lamplight im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.120,57).
