Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Persian on horseback by Alexander Orlovsky was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,318.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Orlovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Battle between the Georgians and the mountain tribes in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 68,701.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Persian on horseback von Alexander Orlovsky kam im November 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.318,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Orlovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Battle between the Georgians and the mountain tribes im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 68.701,35).
