Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vladimir Mayakovsky, 1924 by Alexander Rodchenko was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,901.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Rodchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Construction No.95 in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 3,646,250.00 (€ 4,302,216.51).
