Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dialogue With Malevich by Alexander Yakut was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2011. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,828.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Yakut - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Uzbekistan, Midnight. Sleeping Donkey, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 31,700.00 (€ 39,823.06).

Die Arbeit Dialogue With Malevich von Alexander Yakut kam im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.828,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Yakut mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Uzbekistan, Midnight. Sleeping Donkey beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 31.700,00 (€ 39.823,06) versteigert wurde.
