Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue De La Terrasse Du Vallon by Alexandre Calame was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in December 2018. The price achieved of CHF 5,625.00 (€ 4,993.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Calame achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruine Unspunnen vor dem Blick auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau, 1860 in June 2010 with an auction result of CHF 324,000.00 (€ 244,654.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vue De La Terrasse Du Vallon von Alexandre Calame kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 5.625,00 (€ 4.993,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Calame erzielen.
