Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Caprice architectural by Alexandre-Jean Dubois-Drahonet was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October 2002. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,935.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre-Jean Dubois-Drahonet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Frances Anne Vane, Marchioness of Londonderry (1800-1865), full-length, in peeress's robes decorated with jewels and a tiara, inside Westminster Abbey in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 386,530.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Caprice architectural von Alexandre-Jean Dubois-Drahonet kam im Oktober 2002 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.935,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre-Jean Dubois-Drahonet erzielen.
