Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nine Works From The Nomenklatura Of Signs Series by Alexey Titarenko was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.33). Other works by Alexey Titarenko have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2013 by the work Three Works From The City Of Shadows Series And Four Works From Time Standing Still Series at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,130.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nine Works From The Nomenklatura Of Signs Series von Alexey Titarenko im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.483,33) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Alexey Titarenko wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2013 die Arbeit Three Works From The City Of Shadows Series And Four Works From Time Standing Still Series mit GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.130,76).
