Auction result well in line with expectations

In May 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Arts Décoratifs du XXè Siècle, which included the work Europe, Vers 1955 by Alfred-Auguste Janniot. The price achieved of EUR 13,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred-Auguste Janniot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Annam, projet pour le bas-relief du musée des colonies, vers 1930 in September 2017 with an auction result of EUR 125,000.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Arts Décoratifs du XXè Siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Europe, Vers 1955 von Alfred-Auguste Janniot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred-Auguste Janniot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Annam, projet pour le bas-relief du musée des colonies, vers 1930 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 125.000,00.
